The Mother of Rufus

Mother's Day May 12, 2013 - In the days of the early church, a heathen professor in Antioch, heard of Anthusa, a Godly woman, the mother of Chrysostom, and threw up his hands and cried. The Feast of Weeks

Jewish Shavuot - May 14-16, 2013  Traditionally, this feast is associated with the giving of the Torah and Ten Commandments on Mt. Sinai. One of the pictures in the sixth floor is of the presidential motorcade passing the Adolphus hotel on Main Street. If the picture were clearer, I would be seen in it because I was standing there when the motorcade went by.

Father's Day - June 16, 2013 You have to find your strengths; you have to find out what you're good at. If you're a six at something, you can get up to a seven or an eight. People pay for eights. So when you ask yourself whether or not you can do what you'd like to do, you need to be honest with yourself before you invest a lot of time and energy into it.
